Deb Ferraro moved to California in 2011, after spending 17 years land-locked in beautiful Denver.  Trading the fantastic views of the Rocky Mountains for the amazing and inspirational Pacific Ocean, Deb decided to open up a yoga community center in the heart of downtown Carlsbad.  Here, at the Carlsbad Village Yoga Co-op, Deb is able to share her passion of teaching and unites the community through her shared space.

Deb has been practicing yoga since 2003 and began teaching yoga in Denver in 2009. Deb is a Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) and is trained to teach yoga sculpt, vinyasa hatha flow, yin yoga, kids yoga, cycle-yoga, and bootcamp-yoga. Deb loves practicing yoga for the balance and strength it brings into her life through mind, body and spirit connection.

In addition to yoga, Deb is also an artist. After losing her dog Titan to cancer in 2010, Deb went through a healing process by creating memorials paintings of Titan out of his ash remains. She has since termed her work “Eternal Art” and she now paints animal ash paintings to help others with their loss and to assist their healing process. Deb’s art symbolizes her eternal bond with Titan and allows her soul to shine out love, comfort and peace for others to receive.

In 2016, Deb became a mom to a sweet baby boy named Devin. She loves to involve her son in her activities and created a Me and Mommy fitness program which is held for moms who can bring their babies from 5 weeks to 2 years.  Deb lives in Vista, and loves being near the ocean for the magical energy that it brings into her life.
