CLASS DESCRIPTIONS:

AROMA GENTLE YOGA W/ ESSENTIAL OILS: Combining your yoga and meditation practice with essential oils offers a new and powerful access to physical, spiritual and emotional benefits both on and off the mat.  Using the essential oils, you can deepen mental clarity and focus, release stress, strengthen mind/body connection, reduce muscle and joint pain and tension, and much more! Essential oils will be incorporated into this gentle yoga class.  Please let the instructor know if you are pregnant or sensitive to certain oils or smells (60 minutes, barefoot).

ASHTANGA LITE: Ashtanga yoga is a 5000 year old sequence of postures designed to bring strength, flexibility and endurance to the body and a sense of stillness to the mind. Each movement of this dynamic yoga is synchronized with the breath. Though the class will be “talked through”, it is likely that you will evolve to a Mysore (self-guided) style practice. This will allow you to focus your attention inward and find meditation in movement. This class is light, infused with humor, and simultaneously stimulating and calming. Class concludes with live native fluting and/or drums and singing bowl. If you are brand new to yoga, it is recommended that you attend a beginner or all-level class prior to attending the Ashtanga class (60 minutes, barefoot).

BASIC YOGA FLOW: This is a great class to introduce you to a well-rounded yoga practice. Designed for both the beginner and intermediate in mind, this class breaks down various yoga postures or asanas and incorporates them into an energetic flow. The evening classes are candlelit and provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere (60 minutes, barefoot).

BASIC YOGA SCULPT:  This is a great class to introduce weights into your yoga flow routine. Designed for all levels, this class breaks down proper form and offers modifications and advancements. This will help you burn more calories as you develop strong muscles that are long and lean and sculpted. The next version of this class includes cardio or plyometrics bursts to get your heart rising even more! (60 minutes, barefoot).
 
BASIC BEGINNER YOGA: This class is designed for beginners but is open for students of levels as modifications and embellishments will be offered by the teacher accordingly. These classes are designed to learn optimal alignment in all yoga poses. Excellent for developing grace, flexibility, core strength, balance, muscular strength and stress reduction (60 minutes, barefoot). 
 
BASIC YOGA / INTRO TO FLOW: This class is designed for beginners and well seasoned practitioners alike. These classes are designed to learn optimal alignment in yoga poses while introducing the students to a slower flow in which movements are aligned with breathe. Excellent for developing grace, flexibility, core strength, balance, muscular strength and stress reduction (60 minutes, barefoot). 
 
BEACH YOGA BOOTY CAMP: We meet at the studio at 9:00 sharp (lock our stuff up there), slow jog to the ocean for some stretching, followed by various core, leg, and glute targeting exercises and yoga stretch outside!  Sometimes includes the stairs or seawall.  If the weather does not cooperate, this class will be held indoors (60 minutes, shoes required).
 
BOOTY BLASTING BARRE: A fantasticly short session of intense glutes and legs toning using body weight, and the barre to blast that booty (30 minutes, barefoot).
 
CARDIO FIT BLAST: Cardio + Conditioning: From core work to strength training to low-impact cardio intervals, these workouts are comprehensive and will give you a physical and mental edge. You can expect a vigorous, full body workout in 30 minutes. All levels welcome and encouraged (30 minutes, barefoot).
 

CANDLELIGHT YINKI (Yin, Reiki, and Sound Healing Bowls): This gentle relaxing floor-based yin class allows you to let go and focus on breath and healing of your body and just simply be. Combined with Reiki, and sound bowls to realign your chakras, you will feel amazing, relaxed, and in tune with you.  Dress warmly (60 minutes, barefoot).

CIRCULATORY & LYMPHATIC VIBRATING PLATFORM:  The platform has a muscle contracting mode to tone and tighten and a circular vibratory mode to increase circulation.   The session takes 10 minutes, can be combined with weights, and will help to increase your strength, support your lymphatic system, get blood and fluids and energy flowing and moving throughout to support overall health and progression with your fitness goals.  The session is the same cost as a class, can be purchased in packages and used in conjunction with other classes that accept packages.

FAMILY FUN CIRCUIT + YOGA (ages 7-adults): This fun yoga and circuit fusion is open to all levels and is an opportunity to play and strengthen not only your physical body, but also your family bonds! Ages 7 through adulthood can participate (come as a family, solo adult or even drop off the kids!). The class starts with a yoga stretch and then moves into circuits and cardio stations. This is both a playful fun time and a calorie burning, strength building class. Activities may include jumprope, core-work/play, hoola hoops, ball exercises, squats, jumps, lunges, etc (60 minutes, wear sneakers).

FAMILY YOGA: Come one! Come all! This Family Yoga class is open to all levels and ages for a morning of jesting and communing. Greg’s Family Yoga class provides a fun open space for all, from the lively practice of children to the wise steady practice of elders. Solos, duos, and multiples are equally welcome to our Family Yoga Community. Bring your kids and your grandma too! Greg performs on wood flutes and/or drums to soothe the mind after each practice. This will be a great beginning to your family’s week (60 minutes, barefoot).

GENTLE HATHA YOGA, ALL LEVELS: This gentle yoga class is ideal for anyone looking to find some calm meditative time to explore breath, strength, and lengthening in a nurtured and safe environment. Modifications included and beginners welcome (60 minutes, barefoot).

GENTLE MEDITATIVE YOGA: This calming, soothing, gentle meditative flow is a perfect end to a stressful day.  Come and relax and allow your mind to find the space between your thoughts.  This class is great for all levels and will stretch you with some movement and then guide you into a seated or reclined meditation, your choice (60 minutes, socks and comfy clothes ok).

GENTLE YOGA, PRENATAL APPROVED:  This gentle yoga class nurtures your physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well-being. Along with all-level yoga movement and breath, we deeply align with our spiritual source, and focus our powerful mind to achieve ultimate results.  This class is very gentle and is prenatal approved.  (60 minutes, barefoot).

GENTLE YOGA, YIN : Yin Yoga works the deeper levels of the body/heart/mind: the connective tissues of the ligaments, fascia, joints, spine and bones and the energetic channels of the meridians, nerves and blood system. Consists of long held passive poses, which gives time for a deeper journey into the meditative aspects of yoga, and experiencing stillness at a deeper level. Mostly floor work. (75 minutes, barefoot).

KIDS YOGA (ages 2 - 6): Our kids yoga classes interweave yoga, story, song, games, and poses allowing children to learn, relax, develop motor skills, balance body and mind and most importantly have fun on their yoga journey (60 minutes, barefoot).

KIDS YOGA (ages 6 - 12)Yoga comes to life in these fun and creative classes designed to stimulate a child while conveying lessons in self-expression, body image, social skills, positive thinking, and environmental awareness.  Kids yoga classes will spark the child’s inner yogini while enhancing language development, motor coordination and awareness skills. Classes are a balance between games and active & passive poses (60 minutes, barefoot).

PILATES YOGA FUSION “fusion of pilates and yoga flow” a yoga flow warm up and cool-down with various pilates series integrated throughout (60 minutes, barefoot). 

RESTORATIVE YOGA (CANDLE-LIT): This candle-lit session will de-stress you, balance your body, bones, muscles and hormones, calm your mind and leave you blissed out. For all abilities, body types, physical limitations, and beginners’ yoga. Relax, unwind and rejuvenate in several poses held for 5-10 minutes while you are fully supported by multiple soft props. Class begins with a guided meditation and includes one or more of the treats: singing bowls, hand-blended aromatherapy oils/mists, healing hands, inspirations, readings etc. Wear comfortable clothing and cozy socks (60 minutes).

VINYASA YOGA FLOW: Vinyasa flow takes students on a journey of meditation through movement, connecting with the breath, to relieve tension, build strength, balance, and flexibility of the body as well as the mind to encourage an overall state of bliss. All levels are welcome, and modifications are tailored for the individual to meet you wherever you are on your journey, from beginner to advanced. Vinyasa yoga teaches us to cultivate an awareness that links each action to the next—on the mat and in our lives (60 minutes, barefoot).

WISE YOGA - Relax & Rejuvenate (Ages 45+ only!):  Awaken your bodies power to Rejuvenate and Regenerate more energy, enhancing your physical well being, better circulation, mindful breathing, while gaining strength in muscles and bones, along with better balance, focus and concentration! Some common proven benefits: Reduced back pain and general body aches and pains, increased joint flexibility, increased strength (arthritis), balanced blood sugar levels, decreased weight, improved mood and reduced anxiety! Gentle, progressive yoga strength building poses and flow - Great for new and experienced yoga students!

YOGA FLOW + CORE "move with the breath energetic yoga flow” an energetic yoga flow heat building yoga flow emphasizing power and corework with asanas (yoga postures) ranging from sun salutations, grounding standing poses, detoxifying twists, heart openers, lots of corework, balancing, inversions, and all around yoga flow play (60 minutes, barefoot).

YOGA FLOW - INTERMEDIATE: This is a well-rounded active yoga practice designed for the intermediate in mind, with various yoga postures or asanas and incorporates them into a fantastic yoga flow. Advancements or modifications are offered (60 minutes, barefoot).

YOGA PLAY: Come and play with us! Yoga play is a fun and challenging asana focused class, with freestyle structure, so you can grow your practice in a safe and supported environment (60 minutes, barefoot)

YOGA SCULPT “awesome fusion of weights & yoga flow” a total body workout that combines light weights and cardio with yoga postures to target and tone specific muscle groups; builds balance, strength & sexy long lean muscles (60 minutes, barefoot).

YOGA SPORT + SURF STRETCH: Stretch, lengthen, strengthen, tone, and improve your other sports through cross-training with yoga! This is great for all levels and will renew both your body and mind (60 minutes, barefoot).

ZUMBA: Latin inspired dance party!  (60 minutes, shoes required)

FULL MOON ENERGY HEALING CIRCLE ($20 / $15 members, 120 minutes): Attune to your Soul Purpose at the Full Moon Energy and Angel Healing Circle.  Find clarity and clear your chakras through guided meditation, crystal bowl and gong sound healing, and laser light healing as you receive angelic assistance to achieve your Soul Purpose.
