OWNER, ACE Wellness

Deb Ferraro moved to California in 2011, after spending 17 years land-locked in beautiful Denver.  Trading the fantastic views of the Rocky Mountains for the amazing and inspirational Pacific Ocean, Deb decided to change her professional focus from environmental consulting to yoga, wellness, art, and children.  In 2016, Deb became a mom to a sweet baby boy named Devin.  She loves to involve her son in her activities and created a Me and Mommy yoga program so moms can bring their babies from 5 weeks to 3 years with them to work out and socialize.  Deb is currently working towards her California Master Teacher certification in early childhood education.

In addition to offering classes through Lil Busy Bodies Play Gym, Deb also provides yoga and wellness consulting services to private groups and organizations.  Deb has been practicing yoga since 2003 and began teaching yoga in Denver in 2009. Deb is a Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) and is trained to teach yoga sculpt, vinyasa hatha flow, yin yoga, kids yoga, cycle-yoga, and bootcamp-yoga. Deb loves practicing yoga for the balance and strength it brings into her life through mind, body and spirit connection.  Prior to yoga, Deb obtained her undergraduate degree in biology and art and her masters degree in Environmental Policy and Management at the University of Denver.

Deb is also an artist. After losing her dog to cancer, she began creating animal memorial paintings, incorporating their ash remains. She has since termed her work “Eternal Art” and she now paints for others to assist their healing process.  Deb lives in Vista with her family, and loves being near the ocean for the magical energy that it brings into her life.
